There are already many successful self-help groups in operation relating to different types of illness and disease. Many of these groups are run by those suffering the same disease, in their own time and without any payment. They are investing their own time and energy to inform others, inspite of their own difficulties.
FOCUS PATIENT wants to offer the presentation of these self-help groups to the public.
Perhaps it can also be an impulse to found your own self-help group. There are still many areas, e.g. thrombosis or special kind of allergies etc. without an existing self-help organisation.
